Syrian sources told Al Menar website that yesterday, Syrian Army clashed with armed fighters near Tariq al-Bab, in north Aleppo province. Meanwhile, Syrian army exchanged fire with terrorists in Alhewani Square in Aleppo.
These sources also said that heavy casualties suffered by terrorist fighters, and tens of their members were killed. According to the sources, corpses of fighters were bare on the ground, the corpses of four Turkish officers being among them.
In another case, western part of Aleppo has seen public rallies in support of Syrian Army. Demonstrators demanded that security and stability be restored across the country.
SANA (Syrian official news agency) reported that in south Syria, Army forces continued the chase for terrorist groups, and had destroyed some of their strongholds in Daraa.
A Syrian military source announced that heavy fighting between Syrian army units and terrorist groups, ‘Division of Islam,’ and ‘Ahrar al-Sham (Freemen of Greater Syria),’ in Tall al-Kurdi in Damascus Reef resulted in great number of terrorist fighters’ death and injury.
